Interview with Fleur
Meet Fleur Ozerée, Change Management Consultant at Precedence. Originally from France, she moved to the Netherlands at 18. Her career began in Maastricht as a process consultant at T-Mobile, where she discovered her passion for the human side of change. At Precedence, she developed Change Management from a small project into a full-fledged department with four team members: People Change. Here, she shares how she and her team help organizations navigate complex transformations involving multiple stakeholders.
Tackling complex change processes
Fleur has been with Precedence for three years and has worked with a variety of major clients. “At Precedence, we work with a diverse range of organizations, from manufacturing to government and telecom. Our clients include companies like Sitech, Johnson & Johnson, T-Mobile/Odido, and the Municipality of Maastricht. That’s exactly what makes my work so engaging. The challenge is quickly understanding each client’s unique environment while guiding them through a successful change process.
We applied this approach at Sitech, where I am currently leading the transformation to a new inspection system; a project I’m passionate about.”

‘It's really nice to work in an environment that challenges and supports you in your personal and professional growth.’
Driving transformation with People Change
“I always take a process-oriented approach. For any successful change, it’s essential to first understand the current situation. We conduct a thorough analysis to identify key areas for improvement together with the client. This step is crucial for creating buy-in. This analysis also provides a clear overview of the stakeholder landscape, which helps empower people throughout the transformation.
As a People Change Consultant, I firmly believe that sustainable transformation only succeeds when people are at the center, actively shaping and embracing the change themselves. That’s why I integrate closely with my clients, ensuring they feel heard and take ownership of the challenge. My focus is on increasing employee engagement, adaptability, and fostering innovation within organizations. By taking this approach, we consistently exceed our clients’ expectations.”
"Real change only happens when people are at the center and embrace transformation."

Finding joy in work
“What makes my job so exciting? The constant variety and the opportunity to experience so many different companies. No two clients are the same, and every new challenge pushes me to grow. My team feels like a close-knit group of friends, making collaboration incredibly fun! This dynamic keeps our work challenging yet enjoyable. Humor and a relaxed atmosphere are essential, and we always celebrate our successes with a team get-together.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the freedom to start and develop my own projects, and I’m excited to continue doing so in the future. The trust Precedence places in me is a huge motivator—it empowers me to achieve my goals. It’s truly rewarding to work in an environment that challenges and supports your personal and professional growth.”
